The MG-80 was a high-speed burst encoder developed by RFT in Zwonitz (East-Germany, GDR) and was used by the East-German Army (NVA). It is suitable for the transmission of morse and teletype signals and entered service in July 1986, close towards the end of the Cold War (1989).

On the knobs is a text and have a precise tuning with ball bearing.
The sides holding the lever is different. The lever is not painted. (Chrome)
The text on the basis is pressed or is beaten.
The basis plate is more heavily and thicker.

Mark on the left side, Entstort (Filter).

German Democratic Republic (1949–1990) East-Germany, DDR. Standard Morse Key of the
Volksmarine der DDR MT50. Flameproof Key. Produced at Funkwerk Köpenick. [1957-1990]. It looks like a Junker Key.
Also used with SEG 15 D Radio.
